Junior Volunteer Requirements |
Volunteers under the age of 16 must be under direct supervision. Examples of supervision are parent, adult family member, or group leader.

Wranglers must be at least 12 years of age. Wranglers between the ages of 12 and 15 must be accompanied by a parent or another adult, until they have demonstrated that their maturity and skills are at the level where a staff person determines an adult is no longer necessary. All wranglers must demonstrate the ability to act responsibly in the barn area, complete tasks without direct supervision, and follow barn rules and guidelines.

| All lesson volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Volunteers between the ages of 12 and 15 who wish to participate in lessons must have demonstrated skills required to be a wrangler without supervision, attend a horse handling clinic, attend additional training offered by staff, and pass a skills assessment test prior to participating in lessons. |
