Rocket Boy is owned by Shirley and Charlie Gentry and quickly became a vital team member after joining CKRH
in March 2007. He is a suitable mount for riders who are just learning to ride independently, but is also accepting of
side walkers for those riders needing a little more support. He is a very intelligent horse and is very forgiving of
riders who may inadvertently send confusing signals as they learn beginning riding skills.
His smooth trot and excellent rotational movement at the walk, combined with his willingness to please, make
Rocket Boy a prime candidate for the hippotherapy program at CKRH.
When you come to visit Riding for Hope, Rocket Boy will be the first horse to walk up to the fence to greet you!
He LOVES people! He wants nothing more than to spend some time with the folks around the barn. He also
enjoys taking rides through the Horse Park, and is a very calm and steady ride on the trail.
Rocket Boy has also been a star at the Special Olympics
