"I was born a horse lover! I grew up with horses in Colorado and started showing in Western events and rodeos when I was seven. I continued showing all through high school and focused on Western Riding, Reining, and Barrel Racing. I was a member of Colorado State University's Equine Team and showed in the intercollegiate horse show association. I have enjoyed working on different cattle and horse ranches in Colorado, Wyoming, Texas and Hawaii, but I love teaching therapeutic riding lessons more than anything! Today I show in the Ranch Horse shows and I am doing my best to rope!"
Beth owns several of her own horses: "Dillon, is an eight year old gray Quarter Horse. He has a huge personality and keeps me on my toes. He's gone everywhere with me, Colorado, Kentucky, Wyoming and Texas. He is my partner and enjoys cattle and trail rides. Cody is a four year old Bay Quarter Horse that is as stocky as they come! She is a sweet girl and we are excited to see what she turns out to be. Dusty is a gray-dun Quarter Horse mare with a big heart. She aims to please and always gives her all."
While living in Colorado Beth volunteered for Hearts and Horses therapeutic riding center. Beth holds a Masters Degree in Recreational Therapy, and is working toward her counseling licensure. In October of 2006, Beth received her EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Associations) certification. She joined the CKRH staff in March of 2007 as the full-time Volunteer Coordinator
