LaTonna came to CKRH in 2001. She began riding at the age of six, competed in local 4-H shows and was a member of a national judging team. She joined the United States Pony Club and competed at the C3 level as well as other combined training events and three-day events. She also showed hunter-jumpers in open jumping competitions. LaTonna worked on several thoroughbred farms foaling mares and doing sales prep of yearling. She galloped race horses throughout her college years.

When LaTonna is not at CKRH, she is working at her "real" job, Director of Public Relations and Marketing for Rood and Riddle Veterinary Pharmacy. She is also certified in large animal emergency response techniques and a member of the Kentucky Thoroughbred Farm Manager's Club, the Kentucky Horse Council, the Kentucky Equine Education Program, the United States Equestrian Federation, NARHA, and The Thorobreds.
